Yes! There are two parts to the location function:
- The locations field that Studio uses to sort and filter your items by location, such as your store or a warehouse.
- A text field into which you can enter notes for yourself (such as the aisle or shelf number) to help locate items within your location(s).
Your location(s) are entered in Settings > Locations. Even if you only have one, enter your location and address here to help speed up the process when adding new items.
Click the + Add New Location button, fill in the details and click Save.
When you add a new item, your Default location will be applied, saving you from having to enter your most-used (or only) location newly each time.
You can set or change your default at any time by clicking the Set as default option that appears beneath the location name when you hover over it.
Items uploaded from mobile will automatically have the default location added. In the desktop app, you can choose the location from a dropdown list.
