How do I add an item to my inventory?

How do I add an item to my inventory?

In Studio you can add items via your mobile device or the desktop app.

Studio on mobile
Tap the + symbol at the bottom right of the screen to open Add New Item

You will arrive on the Photos page with the option to add photos and video. You can take photos and/or video on the spot with your camera or you can add either from your device gallery. Photos can also be added from Dropbox.

To skip photos and video for now and go to the only required field, tap Basic Details at the bottom right of the screen and enter your item’s Title in the page that appears.

Complete as many or as few of the remaining fields as you wish, then tap Save & Finish. You can either Save as Draft (the item will remain in the Drafts section until you finish adding details) or Save (the item will move to the Available category of your inventory.)

Studio on desktop
Click + Add New at the top right of your screen,

Click Basic Details and enter your Item Title and SKU/Stock Number – these are the only required fields,

Add as much or as little additional information as you wish (see below)

Click either Save as Draft (if you plan to add more later) or Save (if you’re done)

We’ve kept this super simple so it’s easy to get a start on entering your items, with many options for you to go as deep and detailed as you wish!

The additional fields listed below have been developed specifically for the antiques and unique item industry. The more fields you complete, the more options you have for searching and sorting your inventory and for generating detailed and customized reports in this and future versions of Studio, not to mention detailed brochures in the presentation creator!
