How do I add notes to an item?

Many of the fields in Studio are completed from a dropdown list. This makes it possible to sort and filter your items by those features or qualities.

The Notes field at the end of the Basic Details page is for notes intended only for yourself or your team, or for use as a placeholder. Information entered there will not be included in the item description when you choose to share it via text, email, social media or a PDF brochure.

There are several additional fields into which you can type or speak your own notes:
  1. Description, Condition Details and Notes (Basic Details page)
  2. Additional Dimensions (Dimensions page)
  3. Mark/Signature (Style & History page)
  4. Location Details and Shipping Notes (Location & Shipping page)
As noted previously, only a title is required when creating an item record. We know the time and detail available at any given moment for any given item can vary widely!
